It's really nice of you to share your experience with us, there are many people that need this kind of information in order plan a good cruise trip and avoid bad surprises. Gladly this was not my case with Greek Island Cruises, I enjoyed each minute of that trip.

I'vew been to Villefranche and Monte - Antibes is lovely too. Gorgeous for swimming... oooh, warm Med, yummy...

Brings back fond memories of the 2 cruises I've been on. Ah, for a day at sea. (although the Captains Log always makes me think of Star Trek, and Captain Picard)

Thank you for all this, it is very different from a luxury trip on a cargo liner from Liverpool to Hong Kong 45 years ago, and looks not to be the sort of thing I would like. Carry on having fun, and that is not a film reference!

Well I don't think I would ever go on a Cruise a little afraid of the open ocean, and get somewhat see sick :-(
But I enjoy reading about your experiences, and looking at the lovely images :-)

Great photos... You have created the image well in my mind now.... I had to laugh re the clip clop alarm call.... typical as you say!! But heyho, who else would take their shoes off for you!! LOL :-D
I have to say. I am such a skinnyflint when it comes to shelling out more doo when I have spent thousands to get on board.... The tapas looks fantastic though! What was Marco Pierre White food like? (or should I read on..... )
Oohh quizzes... *shudders* I run off in the other direction!!! As for quiet areas, I struggled to find this on the Crown Princess. Everywhere I went I could hear the plasma screen booming out the film / concert!!!
Must read on.... ;-)

LOL!! We had a rough crossing from Toulon to Barcelona! The restaurant was pretty much empty and hardly a soul about. I agree though, it has not put us off cruising either..... Too much of the world to see and too many ships to experience! ;-)

OMG! You are going on Ventura....! We tried to get a self guided tour prior to the sail out but unfortunately our ballot was unsuccessful :-(
